Fostering Personal Development and Social Progress

Man should be regarded as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value.  Education    alone  can  reveal  these  treasures  and  enable  mankind  to  benefit  there from.  These  gems  include capacities , strengths  and  qualities  that  each  individual  is  endowed  with.

This  course  helps  to  explore  these  mines, discover  their  treasures  and  develop  the  individual’s  moral  capabilities  for  self  improvement  and  social  advancement. It  integrates  nurturing  intellectual  and  moral  development  of  the  person  with  promoting  the  betterment  of  the  world.

Symposium

- A New Framework for Moral Education

The  building  blocks  of  a  person's  moral  structures  are  qualities,  attitudes,  skills  and  abilities, as  well  as  knowledge  and  understanding  of  essential  moral  concepts.
The  basic  task  of  moral  education  is  to  analyze  these  virtues  and  then  devise  patterns  of  actions  and  specific  educational  activities  that  foster  their  development at  each  stage  of  their  growth.
In  today's  times  of  rapidly  eroding  moral  values  and  the  resultant  adverse  effects  on  the  wellbeing  of  the  society,  there  is  an  urgent  need  of  individuals  as  well  as  educational  institutions  to  engage  programs  to  develop  a  healthy  society.
